1. Is the 100% VEGAN coloration as effective?
Yes, it is. A VEGAN coloration just means that no ingredients of animal origin were used in its
formulation. There is no change regarding the product performance.

2. What is the coverage of grey hair of the permanent color?

PERMANENT COLOR has up to 100% coverage of grey hair.

3. What is the mixing ratio of the permanent color?

The mixing ratio of PERMANENT COLOR with the oxidizing agent is 1:1.5. For example, when we use 100 g of PERMANENT COLOR, we will use 150 g of DEVELOPER CREAM.

4. Is the smell of the permanent color strong?
PERMANENT COLOR has a very subtle fragrance, with woody, aquatic, and citrus notes, which make the colouring service much more pleasant for both the client and the colourist.

5. What is the capacity of the color tubes?

PERMANENT COLOR is sold in 100 ml tubes.

6. What is the permanent color texture?
PERMANENT COLOR has a cream texture.

7. What is the exposure time for the permanent color?
The recommended exposure time for PERMANENT COLOR is 35 minutes. Depending on the service provided by the professional, the total service time may vary. With very stubborn grey hair, we recommend an exposure time of 40 minutes.

8. How long does permanent color last?
The durability of any colour depends on several factors: condition of the hair strand, previously existing chemical treatments, natural growth rate, exposure to external factors (sun, sea water, chlorine, thermal tools...) and post-colouring care. To protect and extend your hair colour, we recommend our complete COLOR COAT colour care line (shampoo, conditioner or mask, leave-in treatment, and serum).

9. From what percentage of grey hair should I use the base tone?
A thorough diagnosis is recommended before any service so that the needs and limitations of each hair are identified, thus ensuring that the result meets expectations. We recommend the use of the base tone from 30% of grey hair.

10. Does permanent color have a warmer or cooler base?
PERMANENT COLOR derives from the most natural tones and is therefore a combination of both.

11. In what situations should I use MIX TONES?
A thorough diagnosis is recommended before any service so that the needs and limitations of each hair are identified, thus ensuring that the result meets expectations. MIX TONES are used to neutralize unwanted colours or intensify reflections.

12. What is 0 (neutral) of the MIX TONES for?
It can be mixed with a tone to dilute it and create a lighter tone. Associated with the other MIX TONES we obtain pastel tones. It increases the lightening power by half to one stage when mixed with another tone. It can also be used on its own as a mild lightener to achieve 1 to 2 lightening stages (depending on the natural depth and hair thickness).

13. In what situations are INTENSE NATURAL tones used?
A thorough diagnosis is recommended before any service so that the needs and limitations of each hair are identified, thus ensuring that the result meets expectations. These tones can be used on medium to thick hair in cases of more stubborn grey hair. They contain a higher concentration of natural pigment to guarantee high performance.

14. In what situations do I need to do the skin sensitivity test?

For any technical service, it is necessary to do an allergy test 48 hours prior to its application. To do the skin sensitivity test, remove the earrings, wash 1 cm2 of skin behind the ear or in the crook of the arm with soap and water or alcohol. Apply a small amount of product (COLOR + DEVELOPER) and let it dry. After 48 hours rinse well with warm water. In case of irritation, itching/rush, or redness, wash immediately and do not use the product.

15. What type of colour can I apply to a pregnant or breastfeeding woman?

Unless there is a medical indication to the contrary, the colour can be the same as the person already used, regardless of the pregnancy trimester. There are no studies that prove the reproductive toxicity and teratogenicity (ability to cause malformations in the foetus) of any ingredient used in hair dyes, and in addition, no cosmetic can be absorbed into the bloodstream. Nevertheless, it is important to stress the importance of a previous diagnosis of the condition of the scalp and hair, as in any other customer.

16. From what age can I use a colour?

Although any of our colours are safe, they are not recommended for use in children under 16 years of age, since there are no studies in this population group.

17. What type of colour can I apply to a customer with hair conditions (eczema, psoriasis...)?
With scalp conditions, it is not advisable to apply any colour or treatment not prescribed by the attending physician.

18. When colouring the hair, my customer reports that she felt scalp itchiness and/or sensitive scalp. Is it normal?
A thorough diagnosis is recommended before any service so that the needs and limitations of each client are identified. However, we must distinguish 2 situations: The fact that the customer feels itchiness during the colouring process is due to the normal course of development of the mixture; if the customer reports itchiness or skin sensitivity after colouring, it is due to a variety of factors, ranging from lower immunity (for example, taking a drug, stress...) to washing the hair on that same day; these situations must be safeguarded at the diagnosis time, that is, prior to the colouring service.
